Basic steps
1. Start with the beginning, learn the basics of photography: position of a subject, lightning, and not at last the essential workings of your camera. Be at the right place at the right time with camera in your hands, go out there and take photographs, find right opportunities don’t wait for them to come along.
2. Learn to see. In your everyday life you are surrounded by lots and lots of things, you can shoot colorful objects or the opposite non color things and make a black-and-white photography. Look for repetition and rhythm or something completely isolated from the thinks around it. Lightning is an important element to look for or the lack of it, contrast, texture, form and patterns, gesture and emotions.
3. Show you works to the world. Select all the best shots and show only that to the other people, it’s good to seek out constructive criticism as long as you are careful about who you listen to. Ask opinion of other artists, ask what you did wrong or right, don’t be modest if someone likes you work.

After Rain by Cristi Popescu
L-au rugat pe Cristi sa ne zica cate ceva despre el si spre multumirea noastra a fost deschis si sincer:
Autorul?! Cristi Popescu (popel). Foarte putine fotografii reprezinta
cu adevarat o creatie 100% personala, de cele mai multe ori fotografia ma
reprezinta doar ca insipiratie, viziune si putin simt artisitc. In general
fotografia reprezinta o reproducere statica, dinamica imagini provenind
din simtul estetic si elasticitatea “laboratorului”.
Cu toate acestea, nu inseamna ca fotografia mea, nu este autentica – nu sunt
foto-copieri, pun foarte multa pasiune in ceea ce fac cu aparatul foto, de
multe ori prea multa si uit de partea tehnica. Ideea de Life in photo’s
imi da posibilitatea sa fotografiez tot ce-mi trece prin cap, tot ce
reusesc sa deslusesc din ceea ce vad si-mi ofera circumstante atenuante
cand fotografia zoboara mult prea mult spre un amatorism pueril. Nu
prea-mi place sa scriu despre mine si probabil nu esti multumit –
multumita de ceea ce ai citit, dar este o parte din mine dupa ce-mi admir
