Ink Technique
Ink drawing is an aspect considered one of the hardest in this area. One of the most commonly used techniques in ink drawing is the technique called pointillism. This represent is a series of points so close that you can easily obtain the desired shapes.
When two colors are placed next to each other the eyes has the tendency to combine them, this process is called “optical mix. Using this tool you can create a brighter image.
Another technique that I want to mention is hatching, represented by a series of lines drawn on a surface, ranging from one distance to another (depending on size of area they can be closer or more distant).
The main concept of this technique is that the number, thickness and line spacing will affect the overall brightness of the image and highlighting the forms will create the illusion of volume.
Of course to these techniques are added a whole series of painting ways deriving from those mentioned above, such as: cross hatching, contour hatching, “Brillo pad” technique etc..

Tehnica desenului in cerneala
Desenul in cerneala este un aspect considerat a fi unul din cela mai grele in acest domeniu. Una din tehnicile cele mai frecvent utilizate in desenul in cerneala se numeste pointilismul sau tehnica tuselor divizate. Aceasta reprezinta o serie de puncte atat de apropiate incat se pot obtine cu usurinta formele dorite.
Atunci cand doua culori sunt puse una langa alta ochiul are tendita de a le a combina, acest proces fiind numit “mix optic”. Folosind acest mijloc se poate crea o imagine mai luminoasa.
O alta tehnica este hasurarea reprezentata simplu print-o serie de linii desenate pe o suprafata, variind de la o distanta la alta (in functie de marimea suprafetei, ele pot fi mai apropiate sau mai indepartate).
Conceptul principal al acestei tehnici este ca numarul, grosimea si spatierea liniilor vor afecta luminozitatea de ansamblu a imaginii iar sublinierea formelor va crea iluzia de volum.
Bineinteles la aceste tehnici se mai adauga o serie intreaga de mijloace de desen ce deriva din cele mentionate mai sus, cum ar fi: hasurarea incrucisata, hasurarea contour, tehnica “brillo pad” etc..

Ieri, sambata, i-am facut o vizita la domiciliu Danielei (Edani) – sa mai povestim de ale noastre, despre Angelov, sa vad si eu ingerii, care de altfel arata impresionant.
Ca sa fiu mai explicita, ingerii sunt 5 tablouri, 70×70 cm, in ulei (v-am mai aratat poze din faze intermediare, dar are si Dani pe blog) care impreuna formeaza o serie impresionanta denumita PORTALS TO POSSIBILITY. Dar la asta revin eu cu detalii si imagini un pic mai tarziu.
Ce vroiam eu de fapt sa va povestesc, mai exact sa va arat, este cadoul primit de la Dani.

artist’s story
I was born on a cold winter day, one of those days when snow flakes forgot to stop falling.
In my first years of life I drew breath with the kindliness and the love of my three mothers and the strictness and the trustworthiness of my three fathers. The small village of my first years allowed me to lush in the first rays of sun, to rush in burst of springtime rain, to built a tepee, castle for me, in my grandfather’s garden, to listen the trees’ fair tales or to be delighted by the taste of early strawberries.
My best friends were an ashen dog and a tiger-cat, a family of very fluffy rabbits, a chicken who used to come on call and a cow with the most gentle eyes.
My teenage years were a beautiful dream broken by the staggering reality, divided between belle arts and computer science.
Irony thought wise to pass my way a job who’s recipe had equal amounts of art and science. Like a mixed bowl of different ingredients to be prepared with both heart and mind. Fantasy and reality. At what cost? Since that point I see myself as a split hole.
And that’s part of the story. A past of fallen leaves I walked over: the clumping steps of my first lost love, the fire that charred my dreaming, the music that touched my soul rising tides of tears or waves of joy, the flavor of old the books I read brought me, the movies that shaped my mind and softened my heart, the highs and lows, the people, the emotions, all.
